For the winter season, it is just nice to stay home and not go out in the dreadful cold and snow. But staying inside can be boring too. Something that is fun to do with your friends or family is to bake some tasty treats and cook delicious meals. Here are some that you might enjoy!
Pancakes (vegan) 1 cup of flour 2 tablespoons of sugar 1 tablespoon of baking powder ½ teaspoon of salt 1 cup of non-dairy milk (I used almond milk) 1 teaspoon of vanilla Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix the batter. Then make sure to grease your pan so it doesn’t stick. Pour the desired amount onto the pan and add any toppings like chocolate chips, blueberries, raspberries, etc. If you want to have a vegan chocolate option, Wegmans generic semi-sweet chocolate chips are vegan and are very delicious in these pancakes. These are super easy to make and they make up about 4-5 medium-sized pancakes, so if you’re feeding a family maybe double the recipe. Edible cookie dough 2 cups of flour 1 cup of brown sugar 1 cup of softened butter 2 tablespoons of milk 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 teaspoon of salt Additional ingredients You can add -Chocolate Chips - m&ms -peanut butter cups - Oreos You will begin by placing the flour on a cooking sheet and place it in the oven for 5 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to kill any bacteria in the flour. Then you place the flour in a bowl and add all the additional ingredients and mix. Add any additional ingredients you enjoy! Homemade Brownies 8-ounce chocolate bar (about 1 bar) ¾ cup of melted butter 1 ¼ cups of sugar 2 eggs 2 tablespoons of vanilla ¾ cups of flour ¼ cup of cocoa powder 1 teaspoon of salt First, cut up the chocolate bar into small chunks, and melt half of them and save the other half for later.
